KBMO, A fully integrated medical diagnostics company!
GUT BARRIER PANEL
GB Panel is offered as a stand alone test and is also now included with the FIT132 and FIT176 test.
KBMO has created a unique Gut Barrier Panel which in recognition that leaky gut occurs across a spectrum we have included the following gatekeeper markers: Candida, Zonulin, Occludin and Lipopolysaccharides (LPS). For each marker, we measure IgG 1-4 /C3d in addition to IgA 1 and 2
The GB Panel removes the guesswork; providers no longer have to guess they can test for Food Sensitivities, Inflammation and Leaky Gut and then treat patients accordingly.
Candida: We measure and use any candida overgrowth in the stomach/dysbiosis as a precursor to leaky gut occurrence.
Zonulin is a marker of intestinal permeability, otherwise known as leaky gut. If a patient has elevated Zonulin levels, the normal regulation of the tight junctions is compromised.
Occludin is a marker of tight junction stabilization and optimal barrier function. Elevated occludin indicates that the tight junctions are breaking down.
Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) is a major structural component of the outer membrane of gram-negative bacteria. Elevated levels of antibody against LPS may be indicative of Leaky Gut Syndrome and other gastrointestinal inflammatory diseases.
GB Panel Interpretation If any of the 8 markers are positive, we recommend to consult your provider with regards a gut healing protocol.

FIT132 and FIT176 test now includes the Gut Barrier Panel and is the only test that measures food sensitivities, inflammation, and intestinal permeability by finger stick.
These tests are ideal for checking 132/176 food & additive sensitivities, inflammation, and now leaky gut, all with one test.
KBMO can measure food sensitivities and inflammation with their patented multiple pathway approach of measuring IgG1-4 and Complement activation via the marker C3d, an accurate marker of inflammation.
Given that Leaky Gut is a continuum, the FIT Test has three markers: a proprietary Zonulin assay, Candida, and Occludin.
Measuring these multiple pathways enables KBMO to eliminate false positives commonly associated with IgG-only testing. This allows practitioners to zero in on specific key foods and typically see 5-15 food sensitivities per patient, as well as being able to test not guess for leaky gut all in one test.
The FIT 132/176 should be considered if you suffer from any of the following symptoms or conditions:
To enable providers the best chance of detecting Leaky Gut, they measure their standard IGG1-4 and C3d as well as IGA 1 and 2 for all three markers on the gut barrier panel.
This test includes an easy-to-interpret 3-page report, individualized meal plans, and a patient app to increase compliance over other food sensitivity tests.
No fasting or change in diet is required.
